The stadium is being excavated since Monday on a magisterial order with police protection.

In January 2014, backhoes were used to dig up the stadium for development purposes, when several bones were found.

Since then, the dug up area has been protected by police.

People of the area believe there is a mass grave at McHeyzer Stadium, BBC Sandeshaya reports.
