As a result, policemen who had applied and paid for the motorcycles are severely inconvenienced.

They had been told to report to the headquarters police and take delivery of the motorcycles on July 03.

But, on the following day, the handover had been put off on an order by the IGP.

Some of the policemen had to pawn the jewellery of their wives to find money to pay for the motorcycles.
