The Nayakakanda, Balagala and Kerawalapitiya dioceses organized the festival, which has a history of nearly 120 years.

It includes a procession which is the country’s longest Catholic festival.

The festival this year was organized by Nayakakanda YCFF and the YCS under the supervision of Rev. Fr. Ranjan de Silva.
