The Colombo High Court today (June 23) turned down a request made by Dhanuna Thilakaratne to lift his travel ban and allow him to access his assets which were frozen.
The case was taken up by High Court justice Devika de Livera Tennakoon.
Dhanuna is the former son-in-law of Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka.
Justice Tennakoon said that the motion cannot be considered as Dhanuna is a suspect who has been evading courts for five years.
