He will brief the House on the government stance on the amendment and the views of all political parties regarding same.
An adjournment debate on the 20th amendment will take place on the same day.
Tomorrow, party leaders will meet at the parliamentary complex to discuss this amendment, said deputy speaker Chandima Weerakkody.
Meanwhile, PM Wickremesinghe met with leaders of minority parties at Temple Trees this morning (21).
The premier assured them the 20th amendment would not be adopted in such a way that causes injustice to minority parties, said Tami Progressive Alliance leader Mano Ganeshan.
However, Ganeshan said they were not satisfied with the PM’s assurance.
JVP’s Anura Kumara Dissanayake, SLMC leader Rauff Hakeem and TNA leader R. Sampanthan also attended.
