The TRC website www.trc.gov.lk on May 01 issued a list of television frequency owners, which has added three more frequencies for its MTV channel.

The new frequencies are Matugama UHR CH 51 & UHF CH 58, Hantana UHF CH 34 and Kilinochchi UHF CH 51 and UHF CH 34 (Matugama – UHF CH 51 & UHF CH 58, Hantana UHF CH 34, Kilinochchi UHF CH 51 & UHF CH 34.

Capital Maharaja has also been given the UHF frequencies of 34, 51, 53, 54, 58 & 59, Matugama CH 51 & CH 58, Kilinochchi CH 51 and CH 53, Gammaduwa CH 53, Ratnapura CH 54, Gongala Ch 53, Hantana CH 34 & Nuwara Eliya CH 59.

In addition, Capital Maharaja has been given a direct-to-home (DTH) television license, reports add.
