Since sweeping into power, the new regime - the 'Yahapalana government', led by President Maithripala Sirisena initiated the 100-day programme to introduce changes to the prevailing governing system.
According to the 100-day programme, the government was to be dissolved on April 23 after implementing new programmes and changes.
Instead, the government has continued ahead, thus marking its 150th day in power.
