In a statement, BBS CEO Dilanthe Withanage says their chairman Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thera is saddened by the attacks against the Hindu Conference which promotes national unity against extremism and terrorism and carries out a major task for the upliftment of the Hindus.

The BBS requests the government and the IGP to ensure their safety and also to punish those responsible for the attack.
