The mothers who are yet to receive justice have staged protest in number of locations in number of instances exhibiting the photographs of their disappeared loved ones.

"Disappearances are in fact disappearances....it is not that our sons were taken away by the rulers to pet..." the mothers say.

They state that disappearing an individual is a severe crime against the mankind and humanity and the citizens of the island should have legal and social protection against this crime.

This protest demonstration was organised by the families of the disappeared.
