Accordingly, the 20th amendment for electoral reforms would be debated and adopted before June 05, said a senior minister.

The ministerial subcommittee appointed by the president to consider proposals by minority parties met in the past two days, and its recommendations will be placed before the cabinet on May 20.

It will then be subjected to changes and to be challenged during a 14 day period, during which the Supreme Court will look into its constitutionality.

Following a parliamentary debate on June 03 and 04, it will be adopted.

Parliament will be dissolved around June 05, said the minister.

On a request by minority parties, the election will take place under the existing electoral system, he added.
