Speaking, police media spokesman - SP Ruwan Gunasekara says that Dela Bandara is being quizzed over alleged financial fraud that took place in the Dalada Maligawa.

The Anti Corruption Front recently lodged a complaint against Dela Bandara charging him of misusing assets of the Dalada Maligawa.

A group including Ven. Ulapane Sumangala Thera, Media secretary of the Jathika Hela Urumaya - Nishantha Warnasinghe and Attorney-At-Law- Shiral Laktillake lodged the complaint on behalf of the Anti Corruption Front.
