In an official media release, Sri Lanka Cricket says that the appointment takes effect from the 1st of June this year and will cover three inbound tours namely of Pakistan, India and the West Indies.
Earlier, ‘Sri Lanka Mirror’ reported that that Ramanayake would be appointed to the position which fell vacant following the resignation of Chaminda Vaas.
