Priyanthika Seneviratne, who had gone to Saudi Arabia five months back, have been moving from house to house, unable to bear her employers’ harassments.

She says that she is to receive the proper salary her employers owe her.

Any attempts to complain of the harassments to the Arab employment agency would lead to her being assaulted, she added.

The agency also holds her passport and now she only receives her night meal, she adds.

‘My husband even went to the agency and complained. Although 14 days have elapsed since, there is no response yet,’ Priyanthika says.

Speaking, her husband Sugathapala Silva has said that although he has even sought the assistance of the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau but did not receive it.
