CSN has outbid other Sri Lankan TV channels for cricket broadcast rights with a massive bid of 175.5 million rupees.
The state-owned Rupavahini was bid Rs. 110 million and MTV Sports bid Rs. 51.5 million.
Tenders were called for broadcast rights for 2015-2018 on Feb 01 and the process opened on March 09.
Meanwhile, the CSN recently paid Rs. 125 million which they had owed to SLC for cricket broadcast rights between 2012-2015.
