The meeting is expected to take place on Wednesday at the Speaker’s residence.

MPs Kumara Welgama, Bandula Gunawardane, Mahindananda Aluthgamage, T.B.Ekanayake and Gamini Lokuge are reportedly expected to meet on Tuesday to prepare the agenda for the meeting between the President and former President.

However, the President has set up a pre-meeting condition, reports say.

Noting that he was not going to hold talks with the former President alone, Sirisena has informed a prominent coordinator of the meeting that he and several SLFP seniors are prepared to meet Rajapaksa and his representatives.

He had further informed to send in the names of Rajapaksa's representatives who will join the discussion, by tomorrow.
