The surgery which was done by specialist Dr.Gomathy Narasimhan, has been declared as a success.

Meanwhile, reports say that Namal would be able to return to Sri Lanka in mid May or early June.

He is to follow strict medical instructions for the next 06 months.

Speaking after the surgery, Namal has said, "when I left Sri Lanka, I was barely aware of what was happening. I was so scared. Now I don't feel that fear. I feel much better."
