MP Fernando faces charges related to a financial fraud in Sathosa.

At the present, Fernando's coordinating secretary - T.M.M. Zakeer has been remanded for allegedly obtaining goods amounting to Rs. 50 million from Sathosa on the condition of paying back.

Also, Sajin Vass Gunewardena faces charges of misusing public property.

Sources from the police headquarters add that all these alleges have been proved by investigations done so far.
