Thilan Walallawita (16) was awarded the best upcoming schoolboy cricketer of the year of the Middlesex cricket club and Rahul Wijeratne (15) was awarded the best all rounder.

Speaking to 'BBC Sandeshaya' Rahul Wijeratne has stated that he was awarded the best all rounder by the Middlesex cricket club as he scored 3 centuries in 2014 along with 20 wickets.

It is significant that the players have won the award representing Under 11 to Under 19 categories.

They were felicitated at an event held in the famous Lord's cricket ground in London.
