The shooting of the scenes have been almost completed along with dubbing, reports say.

Accordingly, Pooja's task in the making of the film has been concluded.

The film, in which main roles are played by Pooja and Uddhika Premaratne, is currently being edited by Tissa Surendra at the Magic Lantern Gallery.

Based on a love affair between Kannagi and Kovalan or goddess Paththini, the film also stars Aruni Rajapaksa, Vinu Udani, Sanath Gunatillake, Ravindra Randeniya, Lucky Dias, Nita Fernando, Ama Wijesekara, Daya Alwis, Wijeratne Warakadoga, Chitra Warakagoda, Ramani Siriwardena, Wasantha Vittachchi, Anura Bandara Rajaguru and Madura Ramasinghe.

Bimal Dushmantha art direction, Chandana Deshapriya the camera, Sameera Kindelpitiya make up and Chandana Wickremasinghe choreography. A. D. Ranjit Kumara is the executive director.

To Praneeth Abayasundara’s lyrics, playbacks are sung by Visharadha Nanda Malani, Amerasiri Peiris, Nirosha Virajini, Kasun Kalhara, Uresha Ravihari, Damayanthi Jayasuriya and Saman Lenin.
