Voice Against Corruption Convener, Wasantha Samarasinghe said the committee that was appointed by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe consisted of several UNPers and there were doubts over the determination of the committee that cleared Mahendran.
The Voice Against Corruption organization has written to President Maithripala Sirisena asking him to appoint a committee to carry out a fresh probe in to the controversial Treasury bond issue by the Central Bank that saw Governor Arjuna Mahendran being accused of insider trading.
