Chairman of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) - President Maithripala Sirisena has decided to remove 06 Central Committee members with immediate effect.

Letters informing the removal of former ministers Bandula Gunawardena and Salinda Dissanayake have already been released to the media.

Speaking to 'Sri Lanka Mirror' on this regard, an official of the SLFP CC said that these 06 persons have been removed over charges that that they had conspired to remove President Maithripala Sirisena.
