Speaking to Sri Lanka Mirror, Gayesha said she was yet to decide whether to contest elections, but that she would support a person or a party to her liking.

She said Sri Lanka was having many problems due to unimportant people getting involved in politics.

Persons who are capable of  understanding the people’s problems should be in politics, said Gayesha
