One woman, who had been fleeing her home had met with an accident, according to reports from the consular office in Jeddah.

Her identity has not yet been revealed.

The other, identified as Nasura, a mother of five from Uppuweli in Trincomalee, had gone to Saudi Arabia six months ago.

She had been dumped near a hospital, where she died, but not before telling some Sri Lankan women employed at the hospital that her mistress had doused her with petrol and set her on fire.
