According to a document of the Foreign Ministry, around Rs. 21,750,000 has been spent for the office from December 2013 - December 2014.

Over Rs.6.9 million have been have been spent for staff salaries while Rs. 7.4 million have been spent as office rent.

Rs. 2.8 million have been spent on vehicles while the telephone and internet expenses are over Rs. 3.6 million.

It is said that the secretariat also holds an office which was used by Sajin Vass de Gunewardena just once.
