Minister of Mass Media and Parliamentary Affairs Gayantha Karunathileka has made this observation in parliament in response to an oral question posed by Kurunegala District UPFA Parliamentarian Shantha Bandara.

Karunathileka has added that the government has also taken steps to formulate a welfare plan to support Eknaligoda’s family and the education of his two children.
