Several parliamentarians of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) protested outside the Central Bank today (18), calling for the removal of the Central Bank Governor, Arjuna Mahendran.
The MPs further demanded Ranil Wickremesinghe, (who appointed Mahendran) to apologise from the public and resign from his post as Prime minister.
The also demanded to hold an independent probe on the controversial Treasury Bond issue.
