Gota prevented from travelling overseas

Galle Magistrate has issued order preventing former Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa & former Navy Commander Somathilake Dissanayake from traveling overseas.

The order was given with over the Avant Garde case and would take effect from 10.33 am today onwards.

Meanwhile, overseas travel has also been barred for Manjula Kumara Yapa and Karunaratne Banda Adhikari Egodawelage.

The overseas travel ban has been imposed to ease investigations on the floating armoury case.
