Modi to address SL parliament

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is to address the Sri Lanka Parliament next Friday (March 13) during his visit to the country.

He is to address parliament at 2.30pm, reports say.

It is said that Prime minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and opposition leader Nimal Siripala de Silva are to address parliament afterwards.

Mr. Modi will also visit Jaffna during his visit.

Meanwhile, Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will arrive in the country on Friday for bilateral talks ahead of Mr. Modi's visit.
