Parliamentarian Dilan Perera has taken measures to hold a workshop in order to counter the propaganda wave led by former minister Wimal Weerawansa, which emphasises that former President Mahinda Rajapaksa should be made the UPFA's Prime ministerial candidate at the forthcoming General election.
The workshop, which aims to create awareness among party parliamentarians, will be held at a hotel in Katunayake over the weekend, under the auspices of President Maithripala Sirisena.
Media ministry secretary - Karunaratne Paranavithana, Lecturer Malith Jayathilake and Attorney-At-Law Shiral Laktillake are to address the workshop.
