Deputy Justice Minister, Attorney-at-Law Sujeewa Senasinghe said a report compiled following an investigation launched into the incident by the previous government has been dismissed.

He said that a commission appointed by the new government has been given two months to probe the incident and submit a report.

Senasinghe said this while speaking to a group of people who protested outside the Welikada Prison today demanding justice over the incident.
