A few days ago, Silva himself was interrogated by the CID with regard to the revelations made by Samantha Kumara alias Wele Suda, a drug racketeer who was arrested in Pakistan and brought home recently.

Also, the staff of MP Silva’s party office was questioned later.

Three CID teams are investigating, police sources say.
