The services of Human Resources Director of Sathosa under the previous government Piyal Perera and the deputy general manager (Purchasing) Anjana Nissanka, are to be terminated over allegations of corruption and fraud, inside sources have revealed.
The charge against Piyal Perera is that he is not academically qualified to hold such a post while Nissanka is accused of gross irregularities over big onions produced in Dambulla.
Both are currently under Police investigation.
Nissanka is the brother in law of the secretary of former Trade Minister Johnston Fernando.
