Silva was questioned by Police in connection with a confession made by drug lord Wela Sudha that he paid the MP from his illegal business.
Tainted Member of Parliament Duminda Silva was today (February 10) questioned by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for over seven hours and his statements recorded, Police media spokesman Ajith Rohana said.
