A poster praising Member of Parliament Jayantha Kategoda for resigning his seat to make way for General Sarath Fonseka has been displayed around the country titled "Jayantha Kategoda we salute you" by courtesy of a movement called "We are for the Truth".
Efforts by srilankamirror to seek the reaction of Kategoda proved futile.
But a close aide of Kategoda told srilankamirror the MP has not resigned his seat in Parliament.
A Party spokesman however said Kategoda was in the process of submitting his letter of resignation to the Elections Commissioner today.
