Police say that she has died after falling into the river.

The 09-month old infant disappeared last afternoon while her mother had gone to the kitchen to wash her hand after feeding the child.

Earlier police canine Grero was deployed to sniff out the child. Grero had led the trail to the affluent and the remains were found within a kilometre's distance from the place police suspected the child had fallen.
