JVP MP Vijitha Herath today (19) filed a writ application urging the Appeal Court to issue an arrest order on Kumaran Pathmanathan (KP), the former LTTE leader, and institute judicial proceeding against him.
The petition called on officials to try him for crimes allegedly committed by the suspect and bring him to book.
Several persons including the IGP, Defense Secretary, Immigration-Emigration controller and the Army Commander have been named as respondents in the case.
