Former Minister Rajitha Senaratne who broke ranks with the government to support Maithripala Sirisena at the January 8 Presidential election said that all officials, ministers and Members of Parliament who may have fled the country without facing trial for corruption and malpractice will be brought to justice with the help of Interpol (international police).
He made the declaration at a Press conference held today (January 10) at the government's Information Department office in Colombo.
"No one who robbed this country will be able to escape", said Senaratne who played a role in the downfall of President Mahinda Rajapaksa at last Thursday's election.
