Under the new law the stint of a sports controlling body extends from two years to a four-year term while they are granted 90 days to change their Constitution from the day the new law comes into effect.
A new sports law that was to be gazette today (January 3) following a promulgation by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has been put off after it was realized there were several flaws in it.
