Rajapaksa is yet to decide if he will accept leadership of the new party, which will be a platform for all his future political activities, say JO MPs.
The joint opposition is to launch its political party named Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna in Anuradhapura on November 18, which also is the birthday of ex-president Mahinda Rajapaksa.
