Previously, the maiden film by Jayatilake won the ‘Remi Award’ at the 49th WorldFest Houston International Film Festival 2016.

For this film, Chitral Somapala, son of veteran musician P.L.A. Somapala, composed music, while the producer is Maya Nawagattegama, daughter of acclaimed writer Simon Nawagattegama.

The film has been shot within a very short period of 16 days, with on-location sounds, BBC Sandeshaya reports.
