This is the first SLC-player contract since Thilanga Sumathipala became its president.

SLC says this time, the contract has been prepared in a manner that ensures players get paid in accordance with their performance.

Their payments for Tests, ODIs and T-20 have seen a reduction, but winning a game means they get paid more.

Twenty players have been categorized on the top of the list, followed by 10 at the second level, which is ‘A’ team and development squads.

Also included are 70 others, who do not represent the country, but have excelled in domestic tournaments.
