Prof. Sarath Wijesuriya has responded in writing to Maj. Gen. Kamal Gunaratne in connection with mud-slinging attacks on him via faeebook over a remark he purportedly made regarding the retired military officer’s book ‘Road to Nandikadal.’
The facebook postings criticized the professor by quoting him as having that the he would have written books with a better sale had he got the opportunity to go to war.
Prof. Wijesuriya says in the letter that he has neither read nor criticized Gunaratne’s book.
He describes as guerrilla attacks the criticism against him via facebook.
