Some of the CEB affiliate bodies are LECO Project Ltd., Lanka Electricity Company (Pvt.) Ltd., LTL Holdings, LTL Transformers, LTL Galvanize, LTL Engineering, Lanka Industries Product, Lakdanav, Raj Lanka Power Company, Pavan Danav and Lanka Coal Company.

M.J.M.N. Marikkar holds director positions in 15 of these bodies.

Others who hold more than one director position include U.D. Jayawardena (13), R.K. Pitigala (11), W.D.A.S. Wijepala (eight) and Daya Sumith Arangala (six).

The COPE says the same officer holding positions at several bodies of the CEB prevent the consumer from getting a quality service at affordable rates.
