Those who have sided with Mahinda Rajapaksa after being in the UNP are reportedly ready to rejoin their old party, the newspaper claims.

UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe, who had been strongly against them in the past, is trying to win them over now.

Also, there has been a good response to calls for strengthening the SLFP under the ‘hand’ symbol.

Both parties are aiming to fulfill their primary targets during the upcoming budget debate, the newspaper adds.
