The high court three-member trial-at-bar will deliver its ruling tomorrow in the case in connection with the murder of ex-MP Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra and three others six years ago.

The judges panel comprises Shiran Gunaratne, Padimini Ranawaka Gunatilake and M.C.B.S. Moraes.

The attorney general has filed the case, on 17 indictments, including the killings of Premachandra, Damitha Darshana Jayatilake, Jalabdeen Mohamed Aseem and Manivel Coomaraswamy, and causing serious inuury to police sergeant Rajapurage Gamini at Angoda, Mulleriyawa and Himbutana on 08th October 2010.

There are 13 accused - former MP Duminda Silva and nine of his personal bodyguards and two MSD men, while the 10th suspect Priyantha Janaka Bandara Galagoda has gone missing.

At the hearing, it was revealed the first shots were fired at Silva, after which his bodyguards opened fire.
