In 2014 and 2015, the Examinations Department received 402 and 152 complaints respectively regarding the A/L exam.
However, only 48 complaints were received this year, said the minister.
For the grade five scholarship exam, the complaints for 2014 and 2015 stood at 38 and 22 respectively, but that too, has come down to 15 this year.
Most of the complaints relate to copying and talking during the exam, he said.
Meanwhile, a discussion was due to take place today (30) regarding students who sat for the A/L exam from remote areas.
Such instances were reported from central and north western provinces.
The department is investigating the incidents, and already suspended two principals.
