Police have launched a broad investigation in search of a woman who had reportedly left with two bundles of cash from the Rs. 150 million worth foreign currency stash recently discovered by the CID from a house in Rathmalana.\

The woman had allegedly left before the police had arrived at the house and the amount of money she had taken is yet to be revealed.

The 'Silumina' says that according to the investigations so far, the woman is revealed to be the girlfriend of Daham Sirisena.

According to the police, the house is the property of the girlfriend's uncle - her father's elder brother.

The informant of this case is one Tharindu Lakshan.
