He had hacked into the president’s website on August 25 and 26, deleted its content.

He had left a message asking that the GCE A/L examination be not held in April, wanted safety for websites and asked to resolve problems faced by university students.

The boy has also told the president to hold a presidential election if he could not rule the country, and also to ensure a halt of the improper conduct of the president.

The SLCERT and the IT unit of the CID traced him through the IP address, arrested him and brought to Colombo for investigation.

Lankaenews says the boy seems to be talented, his identity should not be revealed and that he should be guided on a proper path.
