The actress is currently residing in the US.
According to reports, the FCID intends to ascertain information on Anarkali, report back to courts and to urge her to appear before courts.
The FCID is also planning to secure an international red warrant should she abscond.
Anarkali also attended as a guest of the Sri Lanka Day 2016 which was held by the Sri Lanka Foundation in the US on July 09.
