Namal granted bail in Hello Corp case

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s son Namal Rajapaksa, who was arrested last week by the police Financial Crimes Investigations Division (FCID), was granted bail today.

Rajapaksa was arrested after being questioned over shares he had acquired from Hello Corp.

Namal Rajapaksa was arrested earlier this year as well but was later released on his bail.

He produced in court last week after being arrested again and was remanded till today.
